This privacy policy applies to the QS Logistics mobile application (herein referred to as "the Application") for mobile devices, created by Deep Orbit (herein referred to as "the Service Provider"). This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Important Note for Drivers: The Application collects precise location data to enable real-time trip tracking and geofencing, even when the app is closed or not in use. This data is essential for core delivery operations.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects and uses information to provide and improve the Service. The types of data collected include:

Personal Information: During login, we collect your Mobile Number and password to authenticate your account and manage your assignments.
Location Data: We collect precise location data (GPS and network-based) to track your delivery progress. This includes Background Location access, which allows the Service Provider to monitor trip status and automate geofence events (arrivals/departures) while the Application is running in the background or when your screen is off.
Notification Data: We use your device's notification system to alert you about new trip assignments and delivery updates.

Log Data

In case of an error in the Application, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. The Application utilizes industry-standard encryption (including AES-GCM) to secure sensitive data stored on your device and transmitted to our servers.

App Permissions

The Application requires several permissions to function correctly:

Location: For real-time tracking and geofencing.
Notifications: To keep you updated on trip assignments.
Install Packages: Used to facilitate mandatory application updates for security and operational consistency.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
